2028 Tradeswomen Calendar

Are you a tradeswoman? I'd love to feature you.

Each year, the Tradeswomen Calendar celebrates the women building, wiring, welding, and shaping our communities. If you're ready to be seen, here's how to apply.

The photoshoot

Selected tradeswomen will be flown to Vancouver, BC for the weekend, including housing, lodging, and a professional photoshoot in Spring 2027, shot by photographer extraordinaire Millissa Martin - the same artist behind the Tradeswomen Exhibit portraits.

Step 1

Your application photo

This initial photo is just for your application. Your final calendar portrait will be professionally shot in Vancouver if you're selected. For now:

  • -Show your work in action.
  • -Face visible, alongside the work context - we want to see you, not just your hands or tools.
  • -A recent photo, taken within the last 2-3 years.
  • -Upload 1-3 photos.

About you

Step 2

Tell your story

Answer as many or as few of these as feel meaningful. There's no wrong length, short or long.

On your journey

On identity and pride

On being human, not just a tradeswoman

If selected, you'll be flown to Vancouver, BC in Spring 2027 for your official calendar photoshoot with Millissa Martin and creative dynamo director Carly Steiman, and be featured as one of the 12 tradeswomen in the 2028 Calendar, reaching schools across North America.
